Understanding a student’s cultural background will allow you
to teach the student effectively and learn to approach school-yard
bullying and behavior problems in the classroom while utilizing
a culturally sensitive approach.
Workforce Diversity
Diversity extends beyond the original definitions from years ago
and instead has evolved to a philosophy that focuses on valuing
diversity far beyond culture. Diversity is about demographics, profitability,
and values.
Getting Minority Parents Involved
Learn how to approach diverse parents utilizing a culturally sensitive
approach that will get them involved in volunteering for school
activities and their child’s school activities and education.
This workshop addresses African-American and Hispanic family values,
cultural traditions and perceptions.
Sample WORKSHOPS FOR TEACHERS & STUDENTS
Students:
Life Skills
Teaching life skills through drama presentations is the key to getting
on the youth level and hooking up with them. The youth become a
part of a show that is fun, exciting, and entertaining. Youth practice
all of the skills addressed in the presentation.
Peer Pressure
Illustrated through skits, this workshop defines peer pressure,
both positive and negative. It also illustrates the impact of being
caught up in negative peer pressure and the impact it can have on
the rest of your life.
Leadership
Seventeen characteristics of a leader are defined and explained
through a series of skits showing the importance of each characteristic.
This workshop reviews the characteristics of leadership, how and
where leaders are found (home, peers, work, school, teams, etc.)
and demonstrates how leadership is given.
Special Low Rate For Schools:
We are offering for a limited time, any of the above trainings for
teachers or student presentations are $500-$1,000 per day. Presentations
are available in Spanish or English, and anywhere in the US, Mexico
or Latin America.
